The Dodge Charger is named after an animal. Chargers were the collective name for any horses used in war. This means that the Charger Hellcat continues the US tradition of having animal named cars with high performance variations named after something unrelated to said animal. Examples:
Charger SRT Hellcat - Diabolical Feline Horse of War
Charger Super Bee - Horse Stung by a Radioactive Bee...Buzzzz Zapp!
Mustang SVT Cobra - Wild Hooded Serpent Stallion...Hisssss *clop clop*
F-150 Raptor - Truck Eats up Gas so it’s Sort of Ironic to Name It After What It Runs on Which It Eats Like a Dinosaur Eats Dinosaurs...I don’t know. There’s a joke in there. Shit! I hope they didn’t mean Raptor as in “bird of prey.”
That one Stutz Bearcat based on the Blackhawk - (This one is pretty self explanatory).
Equus Bass 770 - 770 Cubic Centimeters per Cylinder Perch Fish of Equestrian Genus.
What do you mean it’s “Bass” like the auditory register? Who the hell rides a guitar into battle?! There’s no way the “Fury Road” script was leaked that early, right?!!

I really like that color a lot. It isn’t right for a Hellcat, more suitable for a Nissan Versa, but I like it.

I see that color on the 392s about 50% of the time. The biggest thing I’m noticing with all these slight redesigns is that the paints are becoming really vibrant. No more, “looks black at night but under the sun the whatever color really pops.” No question on 2016 cars now!

Should have called it the centurion and made a moving red light in the grille a no cost option. I really like the blue on this one.

Also why the San Diego Chargers’ logo has a horse.
